Mudhaher Establishment was founded in 1974 by Mr. Jaffer Habib Salman Al-Lawati. The first workshop was established in Barka to provide machining,casting and light fabrication services.

In 1982 the second branch of the company was opened in Muscat. The branch specialized in machining, metal casting, welding and heat treatment. The company then went into building vehicle mounted tankers and other types of general metal fabrications.

In 1996 the third branch was opened in Muscat under the name of Metal Industries Division. The branch specializes in all kinds of metal fabrication, including various tankers, tippers, trailers, and general fabrication in the medium & heavy range. Over 40 years later, Mudhaher Establishment is now a major supplier to the local and international industry and employs more than 200 skilledemployees.

Mudhaher Establishment has always been a quality oriented company that strives to put customers first. A team of qualified engineers and staff are available to carry out the engineering functions of estimation, quotation, and designing by using the latest facilities. Strict quality control procedures are maintained at all stages of manufacturing and at final inspection, furthering our company's commitment to quality products and customer service. The management team, together with the engineers and staff, are the main reason we were awarded the ISO Certified Quality Management System.

In March 2007, The Establishment gets awarded with U&S ASME. By that, Mudhaher Establishment became the first company in Oman in its field certified with both ISO & ASME. In 2013, the company achieved its first R stamp award by NBBI. Mudhaher Establishment has celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2014. The company's professionalism and drive for excellence is a reflection of the owner's high standards and desire for customer satisfaction.

Mudhaher Establishment has an excellent safety record and strives to ensure that the HSE policy is maintained at all levels throughout the company. The company is proud of its certificates which it received due to the quality of their work, in addition to participating in various industry related exhibitions and conferences.

Furthermore, Mudhaher Establishment is an official contractor for Petroleum Development Oman for several mechanical engineering services.

Mudhaher Establishment also took part in Oman's larger oil and gas field projects such as:

Petroleum Development Oman's Gas Lift Manifold, PTTEP Project for the Shams Plant in Ibri, Bechtel Project for Suhar Aluminum in Suhar; which includes 12 Cilos, and the Nesma Project in Thumrait ;which included a Gravity Drop Tank; a Hydra Pneumatic Tank; a Water Tank; and a Sunshade Structure.
